Kylian Mbappe shares controversial VAR confirmation of sleeve offside after seeing two goals ruled out in Real Madrid's win against Mallorca

Mbappe has carried over his form from last season so far, as the Real Madrid superstar opened his domestic campaign with three goals in the opening two games. In the eighth minute of Los Blancos' third La Liga game, it seemed that the Frenchman had grabbed his fourth league goal of the season; however, his strike was ruled out after being adjudged offside by the barest of margins by VAR.

After the game, Mbappe posted the image that VAR showed as confirmation, potentially hinting that he was hard done by the controversial automated offside decision.

Mbappe found the net for the second time in the first half; however, his goal was yet again ruled out by VAR. This time, the decision seemed much easier for the referees after Mbappe was found to be at least a foot offside.

Real Madrid did end up winning the game against Mallorca with goals from Arda Guler and Vinicius Junior; however, Mbappe suffered his first blank of the campaign. Los Blancos will face off against Real Sociedad at Anoeta Stadium after the international break as they look ahead to their first big challenge of the campaign.
