"The first season [at Sekhukhune] as a whole wasn't too bad but the second season came and then there started to become off-the-field issues and certain things that I wouldn't want to go into too much detail because at the end of the day, they are still a club, there are still players that are playing there," Morris told SABC Sport.
"It had nothing to do with football, it had nothing to do with my ability as to can I perform, can I play, nothing about that.
"It was something that was off the field whereby I protected my integrity and my beliefs and that caused me to end up not playing for the club and having to train with their DDC team for nearly six months."
