'So good to be back!' - Harry Kane sends message after getting off the mark immediately for Bayern Munich in DFB-Pokal season-opening win

    The Bundesliga giants kicked off the 2024-25 season with a thumping 4-0 win over Ulm in a DFB Pokal first-round clash on Friday. Star striker Kane, who started the game on the bench, came on as a substitute in the 63rd minute replacing Jamal Musiala and netted the team's fourth and final goal in the 93rd minute. Earlier Thomas Muller had netted a first-half brace while Kingsley Coman scored the third goal.

    Kane, who joined Bayern's pre-season late after guiding England to the Euro 2024 final, had appeared in a couple of friendly matches against Tottenham Hotspur and WSG Tirol before finally playing his first competitive match of the new campaign. The player was elated after contributing to his team's win as he shared a cheerful message on social media.
