'Time to check out' - Harry Kane thanks Munich hotel staff as Bayern striker prepares to move into new home with family in Germany

Since joining the German champions in the summer, Kane has been staying in a hotel in Munich alone as his wife Kate did not travel him with after the birth of their fourth child Henry in August. But now his family is all set to join the player in Germany as they will now move into a new house.

The Bayern posted a photo on his X where he posed with the hotel staff holding his Bayern shirt. He captioned the photo: "A massive thank you to the hotel staff who have made me feel at home since moving to Munich. It’s been a huge part of being able to settle in so well. [Thomas Muller] was worried my room was getting too small so time to check out and into a place of my own with my family."

Last month, Kane's close friend and Bayern legend Thomas Muller joked that the way the England captain was performing, he would soon find it hard to accommodate his match balls in his rooms. The 30-year-old has been in scintillating form ever since he left Tottenham for Bayern in the summer. He has already scored 25 times across all competitions in 22 matches and has provided eight assists.

With the Bundesliga kept on pause for a brief winter break, Kane will be enjoying a football-free Christmas for the first time in his career. He will be next seen in action on January 12 as Bayern take on Hoffenheim in an important league clash.
