Lampard was overjoyed with his side's performance and the away support the Coventry City faithful offered at the Den. The Sky Blues held on to win 1-0 after Ephron Mason-Clark opened the scoring to earn three points and launch the Lampard era. Coventry are now just 10 points off the play-off places and have the chance to close the gap to seven on Wednesday.

WHAT LAMPARD SAID
After the game, Lampard said: "I was overwhelmed with the supporters there, the away fans to travel in such numbers. I know that’s the norm but this is new for me. But listen, it’s one win and it’s a small step for us. But you have got to enjoy it when you win and try to build on it."
DID YOU KNOW?
After their 1-0 win on Saturday, Lampard's side have broken a 116-year record. Millwall will be gutted that, for the first time ever, they have suffered four-straight defeats to Coventry and squandered a chance to move within touching distance of Blackburn, currently occupying the final play-off spot.

WHAT NEXT FOR LAMPARD?
Lampard will be reliant on his side's away supporters again as they travel across the Midlands to West Brom. Should Coventry make it back-to-back wins, Lampard's side can go within four points of the Baggies and within seven of the top six.
