    WHAT DANNY DYER SAID

A similar offer of goodwill was made to Dyer, but he was left less than impressed. As a die-hard West Ham fan, Dyer said when pulling the Arsenal jersey out of a gift bag: “Is that worth a few quid?” When he was told that he should put said jersey on, Dyer bluntly responded with: “F*ck off!”

  • WHAT NEXT?

Arsenal are due to face West Ham at Emirates Stadium on February 22. It remains to be seen whether Hammers captain Jarrod Bowen – who is engaged to Dyer’s daughter Dani – will be fully recovered from injury in time to grace that London derby.
