Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates 'first goal after 40' as icon helps fire Al-Nassr to comfortable win days on from his birthday - but Jhon Duran stole the show

Two days after turning 40, Ronaldo was on the scoresheet in Al-Nassr's comfortable Saudi Pro League win on Friday. While the Portuguese celebrated another milestone, new signing Duran scored a brace in the victory.

Alongside several photos from the victory, he posted on X (formerly Twitter): "A win and first goal after 40!"

Ronaldo is proving that age is just a number and in his bid to secure Al-Nassr a trophy, he now has a new attacking ally in Duran. They are still eight points behind Saudi Pro League leaders Al-Ittihad but their hunt for silverware this season may now be gathering pace.

Ronaldo's Al-Nassr are next in action in the league on Thursday away to Al-Ahli Saudi.
