Despite the limitations, Barcelona remained active in the market, explored player sales and cost-effective additions to stay within La Liga’s financial regulations. With the summer window done, GOAL has a complete list of all the confirmed ins and outs from Barça's 2025-26 transfer window.

    New signings summer 2025 window

Barcelona's summer 2025 transfer window has been marked by strategic moves aimed at reinforcing key positions while navigating financial constraints. The club has announced the signing of Espanyol goalkeeper Joan García. García is expected to compete for the starting spot, potentially impacting Marc-André ter Stegen's minutes.

In midfield, Barcelona were in advanced talks to acquire Arsenal's Thomas Partey on a free transfer.

The club continue to pursue Liverpool winger Luis Díaz, viewing him as a marquee addition, although his price tag remains a hurdle. Meanwhile, their efforts to sign Nico Williams from Athletic Club were in vain after the player extended their contract at his current club.

Ronald Araujo has recently confirmed that he wants Barcelona stay amid the club's temptation to cash in on his expiring €60m release clause. There are also reports that Barcelona have acquired 18-year-old talent Lovro Chelfi.

There are reports that the club is interested in signing 17-year-old wonderkid Ryan Roberto from Flamengo. They have already secured the signing of Roony Bardghji from Copenhagen.

Following in Gary Lineker's footsteps, Marcus Rashford has signed for Barcelona on a loan deal with the club having an option to buy.

    Departures summer 2025 window

Barcelona's 2025 summer transfer window has been marked by significant departures as the club seeks to balance its squad and finances. Notably, left-back Alex Valle transferred to Como after the Italian club activated his €6 million release clause.

Several players are also rumored to be on the verge of leaving. Ansu Fati, after an underwhelming loan spell at Brighton, has joined AS Monaco on loan.

Clement Lenglet has finally completed his move to Atletico Madrid after terminating his Barcelona contract. Youngster Pablo Torre also has found a new home at Mallorca after completing a permanent transfer.

Fermin López, once considered untouchable, may now be sold amid interest from Premier League and Bundesliga clubs, as Barcelona seek to raise funds. Ronald Araújo is another high-profile name who could leave, with the club reportedly tempted to cash in if his €60 million release clause is triggered. The Uruguayan defender's future is uncertain despite being a key figure in the backline.

Long-serving goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen has issues with the club, but it has now been resolved. Fermin Lopez was also rumored to leave, but he has reportedly rejected a Premier League transfer to stay at the club.

Having fallen behind both Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres in the pecking order, Pau Victor has departed the club to sign for Braga. Defender Inigo Martinez has joined Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia on a free transfer.

More moves are soon to come and these moves reflect Barcelona's strategy to rejuvenate the squad while adhering to financial fair play regulations.
