Antony has failed to impress at Man Utd
Mocked on TikTok by NFL team
Brazilian preparing for new season with Red Devils
WHAT HAPPENED?
Antony has come in for some savage treatment by the NFL side in a TikTok video. The post shows quarterback Anthony Richardson with a quote saying how Leicester City "had the greatest underdog story". That is followed up by another slide showing running back Jonathan Taylor and the message "No, Morocco did" in reference to their run to the 2022 World Cup semi-finals. The Indianapolis Colts then carried on with a picture showing Antony's face superimposed onto a photo of Lionel Messi winning the Ballon d'Or.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The video proved to be exceptionally popular and has already racked up over 110,000 views. It comes as Antony is preparing for a new Premier League campaign with the Red Devils. That Brazilian has failed to live up to his lofty price tag since arriving at the Red Devils from Ajax in a deal worth £85m ($105m). His disappointing performances, and classless celebrations against Coventry in the FA Cup, have brought plenty of criticism and even an admission from manager Erik ten Hag that the Brazilian was "not good" last season.
DID YOU KNOW?
Antony managed just one Premier League goal last season for Manchester United in 29 appearances for the Red Devils, along with a solitary assist, as he struggled to make any meaningful impact in his favoured right-wing position.
