Alejandro Garnacho sends out 'not enough' message to Man Utd fans and makes plea ahead of Europa League second leg clash against Lyon

United were thumped 4-1 at Newcastle in the Premier League on Sunday and now winger Garnacho has offered an apology, of sorts, to the club's supporters. He added that the Red Devils will need their backing for the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final at home to Lyon on Thursday.

He said in an Instagram story: "It's not enough. We know you all expect better from us, we'll learn. We need you all at Old Trafford on Thursday. It's a big day for all of us."

United have had a dreadful season but it may yet be salvaged if they win the Europa League. After a dramatic 2-2 draw in Lyon, Ruben Amorim's team will be hopeful of getting the job done at Old Trafford. If not, heads could roll.

After Thursday's home clash with Lyon, United entertain Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday.
