  1. Why Juve are blocking Luiz exit despite Everton & Forest interest

Juventus are unlikely to let Douglas Luiz leave the club on loan this summer, despite strong interest from Premier League sides Nottingham Forest and Everton. Luiz endured a nightmare debut campaign in Turin after leaving Aston Villa last summer, as the Brazilian started three Serie A matches. The midfielder now wants to return to England but his move is being blocked by the Italian giants.

  2. Chelsea accused of failing to 'lift the level' of their squad

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher believes Chelsea have failed to upgrade their squad ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, despite the Blues spending over £243m ($324m) in the summer transfer window. The Premier League giants have made six new additions thus far, including attackers like Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, while Brazilian wonderkid Estevao Willian has joined the team.

  3. Dewsbury-Hall leaves Chelsea for Everton after just one season

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has left Chelsea after just one season as he joins Everton for a £25 million ($33m) transfer fee. Dewsbury-Hall signed for the Blues last summer after spending five years at Leicester City, however, he struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge under Enzo Maresca. The English midfielder made 13 league appearances last season but managed to clock only 258 minutes on the pitch.

  4. Liverpool target Isak excluded from Newcastle family day

Liverpool transfer target Alexander Isak has reportedly been excluded from Newcastle's family day as Eddie Howe remains firm on his training stance. According to the Daily Mail, the Swedish forward has been instructed to report to the training ground only after the players and their families have completed a planned lunch and bonding session scheduled for Wednesday. The timing is no coincidence since Howe wants to send a message that respect for the team structure must come before personal ambition.

  5. Everton open Grealish talks with Man City

Everton have reportedly opened talks with Manchester City over a potential loan deal for Jack Grealish. The England international has seen his playing time under Pep Guardiola drastically reduced at City over the last two seasons. Grealish was handed just seven starts in the Premier League during the 2024-25 season, and Guardiola has hinted he is no longer in his plans for the future.
