Fresh off an MLS Cup title, Inter Miami are already making moves with a repeat championship in mind. According to The Athletic, the club is nearing an agreement to sign Minnesota United and Canada international goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair. The reigning MLS Goalkeeper of the Year is out of contract following the 2025 season and would arrive to address one of the Herons’ key weaknesses.

Canada international Dayne St. Clair was named MLS’s 2025 Goalkeeper of the Year after an outstanding season in which Minnesota United conceded just 39 goals, the third fewest in the league. The 28-year-old St. Clair posted a career-high 10 shutouts on the season, and also led all goalkeepers with a 77.9 percent save rate.
Austin FC and Nashville SC each booked their first U.S. Open Cup Final appearances on a dramatic semifinal night. In St. Paul, CJ Fodrey’s 120th-minute strike gave Austin a 2-1 extra-time win over Minnesota United, while in Nashville, Sam Surridge fired a hat trick to lead the Boys in Gold past Philadelphia Union 3-1 at GEODIS Park.
