WATCH: Minnesota United star Kelvin Yeboah exchanges game-worn kit for fan's 1-of-1 MLS Trading Card of himself

Prior to Minnesota United’s clash against the Houston Dynamo, Minnesota forward Kelvin Yeboah met with a few fans outside the team’s hotel. There, while signing autographs, a fan proposed a trade where he would give his Yeboah 1-of-1 MLS trading card for a game-worn kit. The ultra-rare collectible caught the Ghanaian striker's attention, and he agreed to the deal. Despite the loss to the Dynamo, Yeboah found the fan and handed over his shirt.

The 1-of-1 card, part of the official MLS trading card collection, features specialized elements including Yeboah's autograph and a patch from a match-worn jersey, making it the only one of its kind in existence. Major League Soccer's partnerships with trading card companies have significantly expanded the market for soccer collectibles, with rare items like 1-of-1 cards becoming highly sought after by both fans and players themselves.

Following their 2-0 loss to the Houston Dynamo, Minnesota United remain third on the Western Conference table with 22 points after 13 league games. They face St. Louis next on May 17 in the MLS and then play them again in the Round of 16 of the US Open Cup on May 21 at home again.
