AFC Leopards coach speaks about Fifa break

AFC Leopards interim coach Dennis Kitambi believes that Ingwe will continue will their upward surge after the international break.

Ingwe have seemingly rediscovered their league form, winning four matches in a row.

"The break came at the right time; we have been doing well of late, collecting maximum points but at the same time we have been conceding way too many goals. It is something that has not been good and we have to address it. I believe it will not be the same when the league resumes next week.

"I am not under pressure because the team is prepared. Pressure comes when the coach has not done his job well, and that is not the case here," Kitambi told Goal.

The 12 time league champions are currently in second position with 16 points, same as leaders Gor Mahia, who have a better goal difference.

The team is scheduled to play Tusker in their next league assignment.
