The former Manchester United winger, 30, has not featured for the Spanish side this season, having returned late for pre-season training after featuring for Portugal in the Confederations Cup.

Nani is a player of great experience, having turned out 230 times for the Red Devils over the course of an eight-year stay at Old Trafford, which included a campaign on loan at formative club Sporting CP. Nani then moved on to Fenerbahce and Valencia, making Lazio his fifth club.

He was a key member of the Portugal side that won Euro 2016 and has played 110 times for his country, scoring 24 goals.
