The Bundesliga returns from the winter break and one big match on the schedule this weekend sees Borussia Dortmund travel to Bremen to face Werder. Kickoff is at 12:30pm EST.
Dortmund was able to carve out a nice 3-1 away victory at Hoffenheim before the break and has only lost once in nine matches on the road, the second best road record in Germany's top flight.
The visitors have also averaged two goals in their away games, which is quite an impressive stat to chew on, so certainly look for them to score against a Bremen side that has allowed 1.7 goals per game so far.
A Dortmund victory in the outright market is listed at 1.71, while the halftime lead for the visitors brings it up to 2.15. The handicap market shows a tiny bit more value where a Dortmund win after being down -1 is at 2.72, and the draw with that same handicap is at 3.80.
The outright draw with no handicap involved is at a robust 4.00, and with Dortmund drawing 44.4 percent of its road games along with the long layoff from the winter break, it certainly offers solid value to consider.
The hosts are given no love by bookies in this match, as Bremen has odds of 5.10 to win outright and, given a +1 handicap, are issued at 2.14.
Dortmund leading goal-scorer Robert Lewandowski has 10 goals in league play, which sees him tied for third in the scoring race. To score at any given point in the match here, Uwin.com has him listed at 1.85, while that goes up a few dollars to 4.50 should he score either the first or last goal (separate bets).
I also like Dortmund to score in both halves here and that bet can be taken at 2.18.
