Welcome to Wrexham is back! Season three of the popular FX and Disney+ show returned to our screens on May 3, with episode one focusing on the Red Dragons' return to the Football League and their very first fixture against MK Dons.

Indeed, the match ultimately didn't go to plan, with Phil Parkinson's men swept aside 5-3 by the side who had been relegated from League One the season before, dampening spirits at SToK Racecourse following the incredible 2022-23 campaign that saw them promoted from the National League.

Sensing things weren't going Wrexham's way, Reynolds attempted to swing the course of the match shortly after half-time, with the Hollywood superstar changing into his 'lucky' sweater as his side trailed 3-1 after 50 minutes, as captured in a scene in the documentary.
