Former West Ham forward Michail Antonio has opened up about the harrowing journey he faced in search of a new club following a devastating car accident in 2024. The 35-year-old, who remains the Hammers' all-time top scorer in the Premier League with 68 goals, has finally secured his future by joining Qatari side Al-Sailiya on a short-term contract.

Former West Ham striker Michail Antonio has decided on his next club and is set to complete a surprise transfer in the coming days. The attacker had been training with Championship side Charlton Athletic but is now set to head abroad for his new challenge. Antonio has not played competitively since sustaining a serious leg fracture in a near-fatal car crash.

Following a court decision in his favour, Anwar El Ghazi issued a brutal statement denouncing Mainz, who have been ordered to pay his full salary after the unlawful termination of his contract in 2023 over pro-Palestinian comments on social media. El Ghazi described the Bundesliga club’s stance as “baseless” and “nonsensical,” further branding them “serial losers” and “deluded.”
