Horror start to the season for our Serie A clubs in the Champions League

Massimiliano Allegri has delivered a scathing assessment of Napoli's defensive frailties following their disappointing Champions League defeat at the hands of Villarreal. The Italian tactician expressed his frustration with his side's lack of composure and tactical discipline during a second-half collapse in Spain.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi was ruled out of Villarreal's European encounter against Napoli after becoming the victim of an armed robbery at his residence in Spain. The veteran Hungarian shot-stopper and his family were targeted by intruders just hours before the continental fixture was scheduled to kick off on Tuesday.
