Mikel Arteta has lauded his Arsenal side for proving they are "special and unique" after battling back from a goal down to defeat Leeds United on Saturday. The Gunners looked in danger of suffering a second consecutive Premier League defeat before a second-half turnaround restored their winning momentum at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal summer signing Bruno Guimaraes enjoyed a dream home debut as his second-half heroics inspired the Gunners to a hard-fought comeback victory over Leeds United. The Brazilian midfielder came off the bench to prove his worth to Mikel Arteta, ensuring the defending champions avoided a potential slip-up in the Premier League title race.

Arsenal overcame a second-half scare to secure a 2-1 victory over Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium. After falling behind to a James Justin strike, goals from Riccardo Calafiori and substitute Bruno Guimaraes ensured the three points remained in North London.

Mikel Arteta has made several major selection calls for Arsenal's Premier League clash against Leeds United. Key stars have returned directly to the starting lineup following international break injury concerns.
