Barcelona pulled the plug on their Japan friendly after the tour promoter exposed a web of alleged intentional fraud tied to a La Liga-linked sponsor.

Problems continue to mount ahead of Barcelona’s pre-season tour of Asia. Although payment issues have been resolved, new complications have emerged.

Barcelona began their pre-season with a 3-1 win at Vissel Kobe, with Marcus Rashford coming off the bench to make his debut.

Barcelona completed the loan move for Marcus Rashford from Manchester United earlier this week, and the England winger has already made his debut for Hansi Flick's side. Rashford came on as a substitute in the Catalan side's 3-1 win over Vissel Kobe in Japan, and the 27-year-old loanee has received loads of love from cules for his strong showing off the ball.
