    WHAT MOFOKENG SAID

"I feel alive," Mofokeng said as per KickOff.

"Football is back, we're back, so that brings back my life. The rest [break] was short, but then it's work, what can we say? We have to get going."

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Mofokeng is in Spain with Pirates at a time when he continues to be linked with a move overseas.

Even his father, Sechaba, is keen on seeing him playing in Europe after declaring, "I don't want to see him in the PSL again."

Some former Pirates players and Bafana Bafana legend Lucas Radebe feel the winger is now ripe for a move abroad, especially that he is now a full South African international player.

    WHAT NEXT FOR MOFOKENG?

With the transfer window still open, it cannot be ruled out that Mofokeng could still make a move overseas.

In the event he remains at Pirates, he would be under pressure to maintain the competitive level he was on last season or even improve himself to remain a candidate to go to Europe.
