Relebohile Mofokeng's father, Sechaba Mofokeng, has revealed his desire to see the Orlando Pirates youngster sign for a European club.
The player's father said he wants to see his son leave the Premier Soccer League as soon as possible and sign for any club in Europe, claiming that the youngster could play at several of the continent's biggest clubs.

"My biggest wish is to see Rele overseas in 2025/2026. I’m praying every day. I don’t want to see him in the Betway Premiership again this season. I know God will answer my prayers,” Mofokeng said, as quoted by Soccer Laduma.
“Anywhere. Spain, England, the Netherlands, France, Denmark, and Switzerland - Rele can play. I believe that with all my heart. Take him to Barcelona? He can play. PSG? He can play. Any country. I’ll be happy - but not Saudi Arabia," he added.
“Not yet. He’s still young. He needs to compete in Uefa competitions. If he goes to Saudi Arabia now, he won’t experience that. Yes, he’d be rich - but happiness is more important. You can have all the money in the world, but if you’re not happy, it’s worthless."

Being one of the most promising young talents in the PSL, Mofokeng has been linked with a move away from Bucs.
Mofokeng, who was introduced into the senior team by Jose Riveiro late in the 2022/23 season, has been linked with a number of clubs, including Barcelona.
However, given how important he has been for the Sea Robbers, the Soweto giants are likely to give a fight and make sure the youngster remains with them for at least another season.
His father's hope for a move abroad comes almost a month after Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos cautioned Mofokeng and other youngsters from making rushed decisions to sign for European clubs.
Apart from Mofokeng, Mbekezeli Mbokazi and Mohau Nkota are the other Bucs' youngsters who were brilliant last season and could attract attention from overseas.

Given his performances, Mofokeng is expected to attract more suitors during the upcoming transfer window.
How Pirates will respond to such interest is a matter that the club's fans will follow keenly.
The 20-year-old has so far kept quiet on what his ambitions are, and if he thinks he is ready to make the leap into European football.
