All eyes will be on Chiefs' new signings amid stern scrutiny to see if coach Nasreddine Nabi brought in quality additions to his squad.

Nabi also carried with him reserve team players like Kabelo Nkgwesa, Thulani Mabaso and Naledi Hlongwane, who could also be handed minutes to prove themselves.

Chiefs will be without captain Yusuf Maart who is reportedly on his way to Austria while goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari and defender Given Msimango are also said to have not travelled to the Netherlands.

    Head-to-head and recent form

This will be the first ever meeting between Chiefs and Vitesse at any level of football.

Amakhosi ended the 2024/25 season by failing to win their last two games and that saw them end the term outside the top eight.

This is what Nabi has been trying to correct going into the new season and Tuesday's game will give a glimpse of what Chiefs have been working on.

They come up against Vitesse who were relegated nfrom the Eredivisie last season and will be playing second-tier football.
