'Pitso Mosimane must coach Esteghlal FC online since the war between Iran and Israel is looming! Jingles is chasing money here - He should come back to coach Bafana Bafana' - Fans

Former Al Ahly tactician Pitso Mosimane penned a deal with Persian Gulf Pro League giants Esteghlal Football Club.

Mosimane spent a couple of months unattached after parting ways with Saudi Arabian club Abha FC at the end of last season.

His move to West Asia sparked concerns from his supporters as there is a potential war between Iran and Israel - where Israel is reportedly preparing to launch an attack against Iran.

Here, GOAL shares with you what fans said about the three-time Caf Champions League-winning coach's new gig.

National team was going to be better!

Mosimane is slowly fading into nothing by chasing the money of these back-woods leagues. It would've served his career and image better if he had instead taken up national team jobs in Africa and forgotten about the money for a second. He has already made more than enough in his life - Bennett Mashigo

That team is big, it's like Mamelodi Sundowns, PSG, Manchester City, and Real Madrid, it's like they are playing alone there, and I'm sure the predecessor got bored or tired of winning everything every day - RealPrince Bala

    He is chasing money...

I’m genuinely not being a hater or mean but it feels like Pitso is chasing paper more than progressing to better leagues as a coach - Gerald Fam
