    WHAT NEXT FOR GREENWOOD?

United are unlikely to call him back despite the player having a contract with the club until 2027. The Premier League giants are set to lose out sizeable chunk of money if they decide to sell the player.

As reported by The Athletic, there is a sell-on clause in the player's loan deal which allows Getafe to pay only 80% of any agreed price with his parent club. If Greenwood is sold elsewhere, Getafe will still earn 20% of the transfer fee.
