    WHAT HAPPENED?

    Kaizer Chiefs will be in the Netherlands for a pre-season camp from July 3 to 19.

    After it was confirmed that they would face Utrecht in one of their friendly matches, the other four games have been announced.

    WHAT CHIEFS SAID

    'Kaizer Chiefs will conduct their 2025 pre-season training camp in the Netherlands," the club said in a statement.

    "The team is set to arrive on 4 July and depart on 19 July, and will be based in the town of Apeldoorn, approximately 80 kilometres from Amsterdam.

    "As part of the tour, Amakhosi will play five friendly matches against Dutch top-tier sides from both the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie. Four of the matches will be open to the public, with one being held behind closed doors," added the Soweto giants.

    "Kaizer Chiefs look forward to a successful and productive pre-season tour, confident that the experience will not only lay a strong foundation for the 2025/26 campaign but will also contribute to the strengthening of football ties between South Africa and the Netherlands."
