Kaizer Chiefs product tipped 'to explode' in 'top five leagues in the world' after winning PSL award - 'I expect him to finish with more than 10 goals this season'

The Glamour Boys have been producing some massive talent from their development unit. Some have grown to be great players domestically and abroad; one youngster has been tipped to deliver for any team in big five European leagues.

    What has Dithejane achieved this season?

    Pule Dithejane has started the 2025/26 South African season on a high note across all competitions.

    The 21-year-old was on target despite TS Galaxy's 3-2 loss to Sekhukhune United in the MTN8 quarter-final.

    Dithejane, who controversially left Kaizer Chiefs, was then rewarded for an exemplary August where he scored three goals and provided two assists for the Rockets.

    Dithejane close to top five league in the world

    The versatile attacker is aware that some teams are tracking him and is ready for that big move.

    His coach, Adnan Beganovic, concedes the youngster is talented, arguing he deserves to compete with the best in the world.

    "For us it's special because he's our player and he's spent two-and-a-half years with us, and I think this season he can reach more, he can explode," he told SABC Sport. 

    "He has the ability and skill to reach higher and show more, and he's started to score goals, which is very important for us because of how we create our model.

    "We want to find many players who can score in our team, and we don't want to depend only on one player anymore, but I think he has a beautiful future if he stays healthy and works hard, I think he can play for the biggest teams in this country.

    "Maybe with the ability he has, he can find a club in Europe because we spoke about it – his GPS data is amazing.

    "When we compare it with other teams in other leagues, he's close to [top] five leagues in the world, I think," Beganovic concluded.

    Can he get 10 goals?

    Beganovic is convinced that the former Chiefs DDC player will be tough to handle this season, insisting he has what it takes to hit a double-digit. It is an achievable target owing to what he has done so far.

    "I think it's just the beginning, I think he needs to and can show more in this season, and I expect him to score more goals and finish this season with more than 10 goals," he concluded.

    The trophies Dithejane can help Galaxy win

    It will definitely be a big call to demand the Premier Soccer League title from Galaxy, for obvious reasons.

    However, having lost the MTN8, the Rockets can have an impact in the Carling Knockout as well as the Nedbank Cup.

    With his current form, Dithejane can surely inspire his team to greater heights.
