    THE BIGGER PICTURE

After initial struggles, Mosimane has seemingly managed to steady the Blue Boys' ship.

The two-time AFC Champions League champions are unbeaten in their last six matches across all competitions.

They have secured three wins and as many draws which has given the team much-needed confidence.

It explains why the club is reportedly interested in extending Mosimane's stay at the club beyond this season.

Mosimane revealed that he was warned against moving to Iran who are embroiled in conflict with Israel.

    WHAT MOSIMANE SAID

“I spoke to the club president but we didn’t talk about the contract details but he said he would like us to renew the contract," Jingles opened up to the media.

"He did ask me, we will see. I am here, I would like to stay. If the contract is on the table, we will talk

"[The contract] is not yet on the table but when it’s there I won’t take long to respond. I want to stay here and help the club. We can be the better team, they deserve," Mosimane continued.

"They play well, it’s not like before. I have no problem staying in Iran.

“I don’t have problems with social life, my problem is football-related. Everyone was saying Iran was not the right place, with sanctions and all that but I am good. I like it here."
