'Benni McCarthy failed to recruit Mamelodi Sundowns players while he was at Manchester United, he must forget about Masandawana! You can take Teboho Mokoena, Ronwen Williams will embarrass us in Europe' - Fans

Bafana Bafana icon Benni McCarthy has stated that if he were to receive a coaching job with a European team, he would take Teboho Mokoena and Ronwen Williams with him.

The Mamelodi Sundowns duo has been performing exceptionally well for the Tshwane club since joining from SuperSport United a few years back and they have been urged to pursue opportunities overseas.

McCarthy, who served as an assistant coach at Manchester United six months ago, feels that the two Bafana players are prepared for Europe and he can recruit them at any time.

In light of his intriguing comments, local football supporters have responded, and here, GOAL shares with you some of the prominent opinions.

    Mokoena yes, but Williams?

I can only agree with you regarding Teboho Mokoena, but as for Ronwen Williams, I'm not sure I hope you didn't play a race card with Ronza. For me, he is not good enough. He is just decorated by good players around him at the moment. I really respect you a lot. You are the only greatest player ever to be so successful abroad.
