Western Stima challenged to gain top flight promotion

Western Stima have been challenged to fight and gain promotion to the Kenyan Premier League next year.

Western Stima will kick-off their National Super League campaign against Modern Coast Rangers at Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Sunday with the top agenda being how to reclaim their status in the top-flight football.

Cub chairman, Laban Jabita set the rules straight ahead of the new season during a tensed meeting with players.

Jabita stressed that Stima should go for maximum points against Modern Coast, adding that a slow start may prove costly.

Western Stima were relegated to the lower tier alongside Muhoroni Youth after finishing in 17th position.
