All you need to know as the Hammers prepare to take on the Swans in a relegation six-pointer in Wales

West Ham travel to take on Swansea City this weekend in a game they simply dare not lose.

The two sides are separated by just three points in the Premier League, but Carlos Carvalhal's side are 18th, and truly stuck in the relegation mire.

Thus a Hammers loss could see them pulled into genuine trouble and, following a 4-1 thumping at the hands of Liverpool last weekend, they do not want to make a habit of adding losses on top of losses.

Manuel Lanzini returned against the Reds and, following a week of training, should be a healthier prospect against Swansea.

Patrice Evra suffered a gruesome shin injury on his debut against Liverpool but remains in contention to play in Wales.
