After a slow start in the transfer window, Wellington Phoenix are picking up the pace confiming the double signing of Mitch Nichols and David Williams.
Nichols arrives in Wellington on a two-year deal and as a free agent after short stints with Perth Glory and Indonesian side Persela Lamongan last season.
The Phoenix will be the 29-year-old midfielder's fifth A-League club to date as he looks to revive what was a promising career.
Williams meanwhile has put pen to paper on a one-year contract after his most recent stint with Hungarian side Szombathelyi Haladás.
The 30-year-old attacker has also previously enjoyed stints with Queensland Roar and Melbourne City.
For Rudan both Nichols and Williams bring with them invaluable A-League experience.
"These two are proven A-League competitors - as the statistics prove, they both can scores goals, and they both are capable of a bit of x-factor which can change a game," Rudan said.
The duo join Steven Taylor and Filip Kurto as Wellington's off-season additions to date.
