Thika United performance against Karibangi Sharks lauded

Kariobangi Sharks head coach William Muluya has lauded Thika United for an exemplary performance that downed his side in a Kenyan Premier League match.

Defender Christopher Oruchum scored the only goal of teh match to gift the milkmen maximum points and resolve to stay in the top tier.

The result leaves Kariobangi Sharks winless in the last three matches and Muluya says his side has to 'wake' up before it is too late.

"We were not at our usual best today. Thika (United) was the best side, it pushed us around and created the chances and at the end managed to bag maximum points.

"They were playing better in all departments, and at the end, they punished us, congratulations to them.

"It is high time we wake up and start winning our matches, we have not been ruthless enough in front of the goal and that should change."

In the first leg, Rodgers Omondi's strike was all the promoted side needed to down Thika United in the first leg.
