Pepe: I think Ronaldo is happy at Juventus


Cristiano Ronaldo has been tipped to stay at Juventus by former Real Madrid team-mate Pepe, who affirmed the striker is "very happy" in Turin. 

The veteran looks set to finish 2020-21 on a low note, with his side out of the Champions League and facing an uphill struggle to retain Serie A. 

But even at 36, he still continues to impress in front of goal and, acccording to Pepe, could stay at the Italian giants for several more years.

Koeman shuts down 'strange' questions over Barca future


Ronaldo Koeman has shut down the "strange" questions that have been asked over his future at Barcelona ahead of Saturday's Copa del Rey final.

Koeman was handed a two-year deal at Camp Nou after being drafted in to replace Quique Setien last August, and has endured a turbulent first full season in charge.

Barca went out of the Champions League at the round of 16 stage and their La Liga title hopes were damaged by a Clasico defeat to Real Madrid last weekend, but the Dutchman thinks critics have been getting their knives out far too early.

Injury-hit Mandzukic refuses March salary


Mario Mandzukic has refused his salary payments for March as he struggles with injury for Milan, with the figure instead going to the club's charitable foundation. 

"[It is] an incredible gesture, which shows Mario Mandzukic's ethics and professionalism as well as his respect for Milan," club president Paolo Scaroni said, per ESPN.

Real unwilling to sell Odegaard to Arsenal


Real Madrid are unwilling to sell Martin Odegaard to Arsenal this summer - according to Marca.

It has been suggested that the Gunners will try to make the Norwegian's loan deal at Emirates Stadium permanent this summer, but the Blancos have no plans to sanction his departure.

Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Federico Valverde have also been placed on the non-transferable list alongside Odegaard, who has impressed in the Premier League since joining Arsenal in January.

Man Utd target Silva has no buy-out clause


Eintracht Frankfurt forward Andre Silva does not have a buy-out clause in his contract, insists the player’s agent.

Rumours had suggested the Portuguese international, who has been linked with Manchester United, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, would be free to leave the Bundesliga club if a rival met a €30m (£26m/$36m) release fee.

However, a spokesman for Gestifute consultancy, which represents the 25-year-old, told Goal and Spox that there is no exit clause in his contract, nor is there a verbal agreement to let him leave for such a fee this summer.

Laporta 'convinced' Messi will sign new deal


Barcelona president Joan Laporta says he's "convinced" Lionel Messi will sign a contract renewal and that "everything is progressing adequately" between club and player behind the scenes.

Messi is just over two months away from becoming a free agent, having yet to reach an agreement with Barca over an extension amid reported interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.

It has been suggested that the six-time Ballon d'Or winner's illustrious 17-year career at Camp Nou will end this summer, but Laporta is still confident of tying a prized asset down to fresh terms after being re-elected as club president last month.

Kimmich leaves agent amid Bayern future speculation


Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich has split with his agent and will now represent himself in future contract negotiations, Goal and Spox can confirm.

The 25-year-old has decided to end his relationship with the fair-sport GmbH agency.

The move is likely to increase speculation about the midfielder’s future, with the 26-year-old keen to agree a new deal but only on terms that he feels truly reflects his ability.

Chelsea are preparing a huge bid for Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Jude Bellingham, reports Eurosport

Mingueza expecting contract talks with Barcelona


Oscar Mingueza is living the dream at Barcelona and believes he will see a contract extension put to him before hitting free agency in the summer.

As things stand, the 21-year-old - who has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at Camp Nou in 2020-21 - is due to see his current deal expire at the end of the season.

Foxes cool Edouard interest


Leicester have cooled their interest in Odsonne Edouard, with West Ham now in pole position to sign the Celtic striker - reports Football Insider.

The Foxes have held a long-standing interest in the Frenchman but are ready to change their transfer strategy following the revival in form of Kelechi Iheanacho, who has 11 goals in his last 11 appearances.

That leaves the path clear for West Ham to move for the 23-year-old, who could be available for as little as £8 million ($11m) as he edges closer to entering the final 12 months of his contract.

Satriano interest grows


Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea are among a host of clubs interested in Inter starlet Martin Satriano, according to the Mail.

The 18-year-old has yet to make his senior debut but has impressed for Inter's youth side, scoring eight goals and contributing six assists in 18 appearances.
