ABS unfazed by Tornadoes’ status - Makinwa

Ahead of the Niger Tornadoes' visit on Sunday, Henry Makinwa predicts another win for ABS at the Kwara Stadium Complex.

Out of ten home encounters, the Saraki Boys have won eight and drawn the remaining two; a feat the ex-Nigeria international sees his side continuing over the Ikon Allah Boys.

“It's a high prominent game and it's 50-50 but we've beaten top placed team on the log which is El Kanemi Warriors, we beat them 2-1,” Makinwa told Goal.

“We beat IfeanyiUbah, we beat almost everybody here. Niger Tornadoes are coming we hope to beat them, we are going to beat them for sure.

“So there's no much about second placed, first placed or fifteenth placed. All Nigerian teams are average in this aspect [away wins].

“The expectation is to play good football and win convincingly so that we can have our three points and we'll be closer to the major objective which is to stay in the premier league and after that, we pursue the next objective which is to be as high as possible in the log,” he concluded.
