'I freaked the f*ck out' - Kim Kardashian opens up on chance meeting with Man City sensation Erling Haaland and seems to get Lionel Messi confused with Cristiano Ronaldo despite being Inter Miami 'fan'

The famous model had a chance meeting with Haaland at a Dolce & Gabbana event over the summer, as both are ambassadors for the brand. In a recent interview with GQ Sports she explained that her son, Saint, is a huge Haaland fan, and that she sees herself as a 'soccer mom'. However, she then went on to get a little mixed up between Messi and Ronaldo.

Fans were beside themselves when Kardashian posed for photos with Haaland just weeks after she had her photo taken with Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe at a party in the US. Kardashian has been spotted at several Inter Miami games with her son wearing a 'Messi 10' shirt, but her fans are now wondering how genuine her interest in football is following her recent gaffe.

Speaking to GQ, Kardashian said: "I was in Italy and I see Erling Haaland, and I freak the f*ck out because I know my son would be so excited, you know it's like his thing. So I'm like such a loser Facetiming at this event being like 'Saint, you'll never guess who I ran into!". I've turned into this person that's like... I'm sorry!"

Kardashian went on to explain her and her son's love for Inter Miami, but she got a little mixed up. "My son is everything Cristiano Ronaldo, we're definitely Inter Miami fans. We had so much fun at PSG. Yeah, I'm a soccer mom."

With Messi and Inter Miami not in action until the start of the 2024 MLS season in March, Kardashian might have to fly out to Saudi Arabia to watch Ronaldo for Al-Nassr, or Manchester to see Haaland.
