Farouk Shikhalo proved why he won the golden glove after keeping a clean sheet for Bandari while striker Sydney Ochieng netted again for Tusker

  1. Goal Kenya.

    #1 Farouk Shikhalo - Bandari

The Bandari custodian proved why he won the golden gloves by putting in an excellent display in the barren draw against Zoo Kericho. He is still the man to beat this season.

  2. Goal Kenya.

#2 Philemon Otieno - Gor Mahia

The K’Ogalo defender continued to prove doubters wrong with his excellent defensive skills. Busted forward when he had an opportunity and created several scoring chances for his side in the 2-0 win against Chemelil Sugar.

  3. Goal Kenya.

#3 David Gateri - Mt. Kenya United

One of the most experienced players in the Mt. Kenya team, and he showed it against the skilled Kariobangi Sharks wingers. He stopped numerous attacks by the Shield Cup winners and when he had the chance, he helped in attack.

  4. Bullets.

#4 Joash Onyango - Gor Mahia

One of the most aggressive players in the league, and that helped a lot in the 2-0 win against Chemelil. He stopped the strikers from invading the danger zone and at the end was rewarded with a clean sheet.

  5. Goal Kenya.

#5 Robinson Kamura - AFC Leopards

Ingwe came into the match desperate for maximum points after failing to do so in their previous four games. The missing inspiration came from the former Mathare United defender, who hit a brace in the first half to seal the win.

  6. Nyasa Bullets.

#6 Ernest Wendo - Gor Mahia

As usual, Wendo was the key man to run the midfield, dictate the tempo and ensure Chemelil Sugar did not get into the game. He did exactly that from the word go, and helped his team bag maximum points.

  7. Goal Kenya.

    #7 Sydney Ochieng - Tusker

The Tusker attacker was excellent against Vihiga United from the first to the final whistle. Was rewarded with a brace as the brewers continued with their fine run in the top tier.

  8. Mathare United.

#8 Kevin Kimani - Mathare United

Once again, the former Sofapaka player pulled the strings from the midfield as the ‘slum boys’ cruised to their fourth win in five games. Will definitely play a key role for the 2008 champions this season.

  9. Goal Kenya.

#9 Enock Agwanda - Sony Sugar

The former Gor Mahia winger continued with his fine form against Kakamega Homeboyz at home. Scored the first goal and created the second as Sony Sugar claimed a crucial 2-1 victory.

  10. Goal Kenya.

#10 Sydney Lokale - Kariobangi Sharks

The Kariobangi Sharks striker shone and disappointed in equal measure. Scored the goal that gave his team a point, but wasted many chances that could have won it for the William Muluya led side.

  11. Goal Kenya.

#11 Nicholas Kipkirui - Gor Mahia

The former Zoo Kericho attacker was given a rare chance to show what he can do and took it with both hands. Opened the scoring for the Kenyan champions with a well taken goal and was a threat the whole evening.
