#1 Siphesihle Ndlovu | Maritzburg United
The 22-year-old has consistently been linked with a move to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Recent reports suggest that the Tshwane giants were waiting to finalise personal terms with the player in order to capture his signature at the end of the season.
However, Sundowns may now look to bring Ndlovu on board especially after Maritzburg parted ways with head coach Fadlu Davids.
#2 Nathan Junior
Sundowns might look to sign the Brazillian after impressing during a trial with the club.
Junior recently returned to his homeland but Masandawana coach Pitso Mosimane suggested that the club might look to sign him.
Mosimane has never hidden his desire to bolster his striking department and might look to the attacker for goals.
#3 George Maluleka | Kaizer Chiefs
The Kaizer Chiefs midfielder has struggled with injury this season, but is slowly beginning to rediscover his best form.
This has seen Sundowns linked with a move for the player, but he certainly won't come cheap after he reportedly signed a new deal which runs until June 2020.
Nonetheless, the Tshwane giants might look to bring the 29-year-old in to add to their depth as they look to part ways with several players during the January transfer window.
#4 Edmilson Dove | Cape Town City
Both Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly admires of the Mozambique international, but it remains to be seen whether or not a move will be made.
Sundowns may see themselves as slighly thin in the left-back position with Lyle Lakay and Tebogo Langerman there. Mosa Lebusa can also be utilised as a full-back.
But with Langerman ageing, this may tempt Sundowns to look to Dove, who has arguably been one of Cape Town City's best performers of recent times.
Dove though, recently committed to a four-year-deal which could prove a stumbling block.
#5 Abbubaker Mobara | Orlando Pirates
Ahead of the current campaign, Sundowns were reportedly interested in Pirates' versatile player, but a move did not materialise.
Mobara has since fallen down the pecking order at Bucs, which could reignite the Brazilians' interest.
The most recent reports doing the rounds suggested that both Sundowns may be monitoring the player's situation as he has only made three league appearances this season.
#6 Talent Chawapiwa | Baroka
Another player who was linked with a move to Sundowns at the beginning of the season. Kaizer Chiefs though, were believed to be in pole position but a deal did not materialise.
Now, with the Zimbabwe international still at Baroka, it remains to be seen whether or not any of the big clubs will come calling.
Chawapiwa himself has also never hid his desire to move to one of the PSL's bigger sides.
#7 Sinethemba Jantjie | Free State Stars
