Veteran striker Edin Dzeko has signed a new contract extension with Schalke 04 that will keep him at the club beyond his 41st birthday. The Bosnian icon joined the Gelsenkirchen side in January 2026, scoring six goals in 11 appearances to propel the former German giants back to the Bundesliga for the first time since the 2022-23 campaign.
