Baron Oketch is among the 10 players signed by the newly promoted Western Stima in the ongoing Kenyan Premier League transfer window.
The midfielder returns to the side for the second time after stints with Gor Mahia, Bandari and Ushuru.
Stima, who gained promotion to the top tier after clinching the National Super League, also signed former Gor Mahia striker Ian Otieno as well as former Chemelil Sugar captain Clifford Omondi. Omondi reunites with Paul Ogai, who coached him at the now-defunct Palos FC.
Stima also signed former Kenya Police goalkeeper Antony Obonyo from Kenya Police and defenders Samuel Olare, Vincent Odongo and Vincent Omuombo. Other newbies are Martin Oduor and Kennedy Agogo and Henry Onyango.
At the same time, the club dropped 11 players who played a big role in their promotion to the top league. Those dropped include Dan Otie, John Oruko, Dan Okello, Charles Kibet, Dennis Junior, Dennis Ochieng, Maurice Dukully, John Oginga, Renny Makumbi, Jeckonia Ogendo and Keeper Geoffrey Were.
