Larsen unfazed by Khune's return ahead of Golden Arrows match

Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen says the return of Kaizer Chiefs captain and goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune for their PSL showdown at the FNB Stadium on Saturday doesn’t scare them at all.

“No, we are not worried. With Chiefs there’s no opportune time to play them. Chiefs are always difficult to play against,” Larsen told Goal.

Amakhosi lost to Cape Town City, before being held away to SuperSport United in the absence of Khune.

“We’re not looking into their last few results. We know the qualities they got from the goalkeeper to the striking department,” he said.

Arrows, meanwhile, are coming off a 2-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns at home last Friday.

“They have got quality throughout the team and we’ve got to be at our best in order to get a result. It’s not going to be easy, but the boys are up for the challenge,"he added.

“If we can perform the way we did against Sundowns then we stand a very good chance to win the game,” Larsen concluded.
