This is on the request of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) who intends to slot in an additional internationl friendly match for the national team on either March 31 or April 1.

Once the opponent is confirmed, it will be Malaysia's third match in this period after the completion of the friendly against Mongolia (March 22) and Lebanon (March 27).

With no open slot until the next international break window in early September, FAM has decided to use this opportunity in order for Tan Cheng Hoe and his boys to get more playing time.

The opponent for this additional fixture has yet to be confirmed but likelihood it is being arranged in view to help Malaysia's flailing FIFA ranking position.

The new dates for MD6 will now be played between April 6-10 for both leagues while MD7 will now be played between April 23-24 for the Premier League while the Super League one will be on July 10-11.
