Victor Moses

Bilic: West Ham need to watch out for Moses' pace, strength and quality

Slaven Bilic took to his programme notes to praise Victor Moses' breakthrough at Chelsea after working with him during a loan spell at West Ham last year.

Moses made his first league start for Chelsea since May 11, 2013 against Hull City earlier this season and quickly became a cornerstone of Antonio Conte's Premier League leaders in a more withdrawn wing-back position.

The West Ham manager only used Moses in 21 games last term but says his talent was obvious and that his work rate has improved as he becomes a regular in a competive Chelsea side.

"Of course we welcome Victor Moses back to the club tonight," Bilic said in West Ham's match day programme. "Vic has had a fantastic season and I am pleased for him.

"His characteristics were always amazing - his strength, his pace, his quality on the ball and his stamina are basically top, top-class.

"Sometimes you have to push him to do it day-in, day-out and now he is doing it, and all credit to him because he has kept his place in a very good side."
