<p>After it's successful inaugural tournament in 2023, TST returns in 2024 bigger and better than ever. The 7v7 World Championships will feature a 48-team men's bracket and for the first time, an eight-team women's field as well. WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>From Sergio Aguero to Maicon, Chad Ochocinco to JJ Watt, and Pat McAfee to Jimmy Conrad, among countless others, TST 2024 will feature a field of athletes, celebrities and amateur sides looking to secure the ultimate cash prize and glory for their team.</p><p>However, all eyes will be on the Wrexham Red Dragons this year following their <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/what-next-wrexham-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-third-straight-promotion-championship/bltb1c6d28f580f2cd0" target="_blank">second successive promotion</a>. Reynolds and McElhenney's club will now compete in both the men's and women's division in TST 2024. THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Local amateur side Newtown Pride FC won the 2023 edition of the tournament. They were the lone amateur side competing in 2023, and ended up on top.</p>

DID YOU KNOW?

<p>The 2024 edition of the tournament will arrive in just under a month's time on June 5 for the men's division. The eight-team women's bracket begins June 7, and both run through to June 10. </p>
