While he is focused on leading Sporting to the Liga Portugal title, the 39-year-old admitted what his son's priorities are.

When asked whether the fans would prefer Sporting to be league champions or for him to stay at the club, he replied: "Both! Even my son asks me for both things, but the important thing is for Sporting to be champions. That's what the fans want and that's what we fight for."
