thumbnail Hello,

The Dutch Cup has been running all week and after Ajax squandered a 2-0 lead against Vitesse in league play this past Sunday, the storied club is out to avenge that defeat.

Ajax now sits just two points ahead of Vitesse in the Dutch league standings after it blew a 2-0 lead earlier this week. Had the Amsterdam club held on for the victory, it would have gone for a co-lead of the table with PSV. It was Ajax's first loss in Holland since November when it lost to, you guessed it, Vitesse.

Friday's cup tilt will be a test for the storied Amsterdam side as it seeks to win another cup. It has won this competition more than any other club, with 18 titles to its name.

Ajax has a solid record of 4-1-5 (W-L-T) on the road, which leads the draw result to stand out here at 3.70. Vitesse has the exact same record at home, and when you have a 50 percent draw rate on both sides it looks like the best pick in the outright offerings.

Ajax is favoured by bookies at 1.70, but much of that can be attributed to the fame of the club as many forget that Vitesse is club that made the third qualifying stage of this year's Europa League and is currently within close range of a Champions League spot.

The home win is listed at hefty 4.40 while the double chance for the home side dips it to just under evens at 1.94, very decent value. The draw no bet victory for Vitesse can be taken at 3.20. The fact that Vitesse has defeated Ajax twice in league play already and has scored at least two goals in each game certainly gives some food for thought. However, it will be difficult for any punter to wager against Ajax here.

Both teams to score is listed at 1.51, and there are a slew of correct score markets available. How about the 2-2 draw at 11.00 for a try?
