    THE BIGGER PICTURE

SuperSport have now survived relegation after starting the season on a promising note under coach Gavin Hunt.

It was a season they looked strong on paper, with experienced players in their ranks.

But they struggled and ended up fighting for dear life amid reports that their PSL status could be sold to Bloemfontein Celtic in what would mark the end of a formidable force in South African football should the deal sail through.
