The Molefi Ntseki-led team delivered on Monday afternoon in the biennial competition which brought them closer to the next phase.

Neo Maema and Thabiso Kutumela scored on either side of Moussa Camara's strike to help Bafana Bafana beat Guinea 2-1 in Group C's CHAN fixture staged in Kampala, Uganda. 

The result took South Africa to four points from the two games played in the pool, having drawn 1-1 with Algeria in their opening assignment.

It was a crucial victory for Bafana Bafana in their bid to get into the quarter-final of the biennial competition.
