    WHAT HAPPENED?

Pitso Mosimane parted ways with Iranian side Esteghlal after allegations of non-payment and is suing the club for breach of contract.

The celebrated coach has since returned to South Africa and was keeping a relatively low profile until he agreed to an interview with 5FM radio presenter Xoli Zondo.

After some back and forth 'Jingles' was asked his views on the current coaches of the PSL's big three: Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

WHAT MOSIMANE SAID ABOUT THE CLUBS & THEIR COACHES

Mosimane spoke first about the Buccaneers, giving Jose Riveiro the thumbs up by saying, "Orlando Pirates has a very good coach, fantastic, on a roll, we should not disturb them."

He then turned to Amakhosi and their Tunisian mentor Nasreddine Nabi: "Kaizer Chiefs, ok, Nabi is trying to do something, he's getting there. He's not really convincing, I guess he's trying his best."

Then finally he addressed the club he used to manage, Mamelodi Sundowns.

"The billionaires are good, they can always buy anybody, anything, and they can buy Pep [Guardiola] if they want. So they don't need help.

"I'm happy that we have left them at a better place and look how they are doing.

"I'm proud to look back, you know when somebody says 'Ah there was a mess' and I had to sort it out? There's no mess I left there. I left trophies."

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Whenever Mosimane is out of work he gets linked to the Chiefs coaching role.

Having 'Jingles' in the country and available will likely heap even more pressure on Amakhosi's Nabi to start getting consistent results in the league and ensure a deep, if not successful, run in the Nedbank Cup.

    WHAT NEXT FOR MOSIMANE?

Every time The Glamour Boys fail to secure three points or perform poorly, expect 'Mosimane to Chiefs' headlines across South Africa's football media.

As for 'Jingles', his main focus will be on securing another lucrative job abroad as he continues to try to make a name for himself outside the Mzansi borders.
